Scheff sings part 2

For those that are a little confused by my last post or those who think I need to get my hearing checked, 2 things:  Scott can’t sing and I’ve never liked American Idol.

Here’s what really happened.  While Devon (who leads worship at Na) and Jeremy White (producer for Nap records) were working on the latest CD by Nap records (Lord willing to be released in May at the conference) they decided to play a joke on Scott (staff director for Na).

Devon and Jeremy asked Scott to come into the studio, they said, because they had heard he had a great voice and they needed some background vocals on a track to harmonize with Devon. So they piped Devon’s voice in through some headphones Scott was wearing and Scott began to sing his heart out.

Jeremy, who was laughing to death in the booth, stopped recording and told Scott that the track was great but that he wanted him to sing this time with a lot more falsetto. Thus we have this wonderful track. In Scott’s defense he says, “You just don’t know man...you don’t know what it’s like until you get in the booth and see the mic...you’ll try anything.”

Thanks Jeremy, Devo and a special thanks to Scott who humbly granted me permission to release this debut.
